Tremendous Type 1 photo depicting pioneering 5' 7" captain and coach of the Cleveland Rosenblums, Marty Friedman. Half of the "Heavenly Twins" along with fellow HOFer Barney Sedran, Friedman's pro basketball career spanned 17 seasons from 1910-27 and included a 1920-21 stint with the New York Whirlwinds, one of greatest pro teams of all-time. Friedman concluded his career with the ABL's 1923-27 Rosenblum's, capturing the ABL title for 1925-26. Friedman is a member of the Pro Basketball Hall of Fame's class of 1972, and was elected to the National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in 1994. 4.25" x 7.5" photo boasts exceptional image quality with obvious creasing to the lower and upper-right corners. Friedman's name has been written at top third of photo but does not appear to be a signature according to PSA. Verso remains blank with remnants of a paper caption still affixed. A fresh-to-the-hobby example, hailing directly from the collection of former official NBA historian (1995-02), Mr. Bill Himmelman. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
