A colorful heavyweight from Colorado who fought his first bout in 1881 because his opponent insulted his girlfriend, and who was shot in 1890 over an argument about money (and who may or may not have died from his wounds) John Clow began his career as a middleweight and eventually became a heavyweight one of the first prizefighters trained by Bat Masterson. A card from the script series, this has been graded GOOD+ 2.5 by PSA, light soiling and corner wear largely responsible for the grade.  The image is a little light, but the dark background of the studio helps provide contrast.
