With image quality above average for the issue, a strong card of John Clarkson, who appears to be posed to deliver a pitch directly into the studio backdrop behind him.  Some mild foxing is visible on the front, primarily along the right edge, much more pronounced on the reverse (which also exhibits some staining, likely from scrapbook glue).  Well-centered with square corners, a visually pleasing 19th Century Hall of Famer.
