Collection of nine yearly passes issued to Mr. Bill Skiff for admission to all ballparks across the American League. Passes spanning 1965-75 are included with the exception of 1969 and 1973. All measure approx. 2.75" x 4.25" and remain in excellent condition though some toning is present throughout the group, with tape residue present on reverse of the 1966 and 1971 examples. All nine passes hail directly from the estate of Skiff who played briefly for both the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1921 and the New York Yankees in 1926, appearing in 22 games in the major leagues. Perhaps more interestingly Skiff played in parts of 19 seasons in the minor leagues for clubs located just about everywhere from New Jersey to Kansas City, Los Angeles, Toronto and elsewhere. Following his playing days Skiff managed in the minors for 14 seasons between 1933-51 before later becoming a scout for both the New York Yankees and Seattle Pilots.
