In game 5 of the 1941 World Series, Dodgers pitcher Whit Wyatt accomplished something very few players have: he got Joe DiMaggio to show anger in a game.  Wyatt was a notorious headhunter, and after DiMaggio's teammate Tommy Henrich hit a home run, Wyatt knocked DiMaggio down.  The two nearly came to blows.  Wyatt signed this 1940 Play Ball card in black ink, authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA.  The card originates from the Shibe Park collection of autographed cards, an original owner collection carefully collected by a teenage boy who, in 1939 and 1940, obtained many autographs from players arriving at the train station near Shibe Park, and continued for many years to obtain signatures in person and through the mail.
