Interesting card of American icon Amelia Earhart, the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean.  Earhart's flight was made two years after this card's issue; this card, along with her 1930 Chocolatier Barbier issue would qualify as her first cards.  In 1937, of course, Earhart disappeared, along with her navigator Fred Noonan, while attempting to circumnavigate the globe.  The mystery of her disappearance continues to be of great interest today.
