Rare regional postcard of Rube Waddell's "personal catcher" Ossie Schreckengost known as "Schreck" to those not inclined to spell or pronounce his last name. Issued in 1906 by the Lincoln Publishing Company this very rare set of postcards included just 20 players all members of the 1905 AL Champion Philadelphia Athletics. Once thought not to have even been commercially issued most known examples contain handwritten notations of the player's position in black ink. This example contains no such notations and has not been postally used still grading PR 1 by PSA due to tack holes at the top and bottom of the card along with general wear.
