Two E98's here folks, one blue, one orange. This colorful pair starts with Larry McLean, an early Canadian player whose catching career was marked by his battles with the bottle and whose life ended in a Boston speakeasy in 1921 when he was shot by a bartender. Another catcher, one who had a considerably more sober career and life, is seen here in Chief Meyers. McLean is PSA 2 in grade, Meyers SGC 1.5, with some creasing seen on the former and a small peel on the latter, both with rounded corners. A couple of small dots of loss are seen on the reverse of McLean's card, not so on Meyers.
