Grouping of 39 cards from the hobby's most widely-collected prewar issue, including HOFer Sam Crawford, as well as a couple of tougher backs and variations. Largely in GOOD condition with flaws typical of the issue (soiling, some moderate creasing, corner and edge wear), with a few lesser and a few better. These cards have been tucked away for years and have come to us as part of an inheritance collection that has been featured in our past several sales. A breakdown of the included cards is as follows: Abbott, Ball (Cleveland), Ball (NY), Barry (Milwaukee), Becker, Beaumont, Berger, Bescher, Blackburne (2), Bliss, Bransfield, Burch, Byrne, JJ Clarke, Crawford (HOF), Davidson, Donahue, Doolan (fielding), Ganzel, Goode, Gray, Herzog (Boston), Howell (Hand at waist), Hunter, Knabe, Lake (no ball), Lundgren (Kansas City), McGann (Polar Bear), McQuillan (with bat), Moriarty, Myers (batting), Petty (vertical - Old Mill), Ritter, Scott, F.
