Lot Description  

Complete set of six c.1878 H804-6 Forbes Co. trade cards featuring whimsical images of illustrated ballplayers in baseball poses. Five of the six cards feature advertising for businesses applied to either the front or back. Considerable toning is present to reverse of each card with paper remnants consistent with removal from a scrapbook affixed throughout the group. 6 cards total.
