No man alive today can explain why Fleer chose this picture of Dodgers Hall of Famer Zach Wheat for their 1960 All Time Greats set but choose it they did. Putting aside the curious choice of image, the card itself grades PSA 5 (MK) due to a small swirl of ballpoint on the reverse. He signed it as Zach D Wheat (his middle name was Davis) and added a couple of slashes under his signature for good measure, a PSA/DNA 9 in grade.  Wheat was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1959 and passed away in 1972 and his signature is uncommon as he predated the card show circuit.
