Well-worn baseball dating to Spring Training of 1961, signed by members of the Pittsburgh Pirates, Atlanta Braves and St. Louis Cardinals. The baseball contains 23 signatures, but the important ones are Hall of Famers Roberto Clemente, Stan Musial and Hank Aaron. Additional signatures include Billy Martin, Harry Walker, Howie Pollet, Dick Groat and Del Crandall. The Clemente signature appears on the sweet spot, a heavy gouge taken out of the horsehide revealing some string underneath, and surely obscuring the signature of Clemente. Several similar tears are apparent throughout. Still, a multi-signed baseball with one of the most important Hall of Famers of his era, Roberto Clemente, on the sweet spot.
