Lightly handled 1922 Eastern Exhibit of the Yankees Wally Schang, replete with a stunningly composed shot of the switch-hitting catcher in a sideline action pose. Schang, who sported an eye opening lifetime On Base percentage of .393, won World Series titles with three different teams and was one of the top backstops of his time, adapting nicely when the lively ball was introduced, and played 19 seasons in the AL. Graded as a PSA 5.5, some minor corner tips and a slight sliver of border on the left are seen. A clean example, the Post Card back is a beauty as well. This card has the Chicago address variation on the reverse.
