Someone at Topps thought it was good idea to throw in a couple of pink backgrounds in the 1959 set and to this day we have no idea why. All-time great Bob Gibson got this treatment for his rookie card, holdered here as a PSA 4. It's got great color, albeit in the Pepto-Bismol range, with centering pushed northward. All four corners have tipped a little, with a little dirt in the extreme lower left border. The reverse is on that nice, creamy high number stock Topps used to finish off their set and it's centered to the left as printed. A nice looking card for the grade.
