E126 American Caramel is a 60 subject set issued at the tail end of the caramel card era in 1927. Unlike many earlier candy sets, it features a good amount of photos not seen previously or cropped to show better detail. Sam Rice's seventh game defensive prowess may have been the difference in the 1924 World Series, which the Senators took from McGraw's New York Giants in a well-played contest on both sides. Number 29 in the set features the fleet right fielder and is PSA 3 in grade, a nod to the preservation of this card. A couple of creases are seen in the right side background, with barley tipped corners. The image is strong and well-contrasted. The reverse looks grand as well. PSA has graded just eight of these, with a sole example higher in 4.
