Rocket-armed Roger Peckinpaugh has a long career in baseball as a player and spent eight staggered seasons managing as well. An ace shortstop, who first earned his keep with the Indians and Yankees, he was a member of the 1924-25 Senators teams that went to back-to-back Fall Classics, capturing the crown the first time out. Seen here in a nicely-centered popular horizontal pose on the infield grass, he sure looks ready for whatever comes his way. All the corners have started to round and there is, as expected, product staining front and back. Fairly graded as a PSA 2.
