Leadoff man Josh Devore was part of two teams that reached the World Series in four consecutive seasons. After two Fall Classic losses with the Giants, he was traded away from the McGraw Men to the Reds in May of 1913 then Cincy moved him to the Phillies later that year, then dealt again in July of 1914 to the Braves, where he helped them topple the Mack Men in October. It was the last year of his big league career, although he persevered in the minors over the next decade.
