Pair of sepia toned 3.25" x 5.25" snapshot photographs featuring pitcher Joe Krakauskas (who famously surrendered the final base hit of Joe DiMaggio's 56-game hitting streak) and outfielder Roberto Ortiz of the Washington Nationals. Both players have applied their signatures in black ink over the snapshots which appear to have been taken during spring training. Each photo includes full LOA from James Spence Authentication.

Note: our printed catalog indicates these are 1939 snapshots. Further research has revealed the images must have been taken in the early 40's as this is consistent with both their timelines as players and uniform styles.
