Retirado cards from the three-in-one 1967 Topps-attributed Venezuelan set feature many Hall-of-Famers in a 50 subject subset. The cards feature an interesting design that offers stark contrast between the robin's egg blue backgrounds and prominent black-and-white player images. Take all that and then add in the scarcity level of these South-of-the-Border cards and you can see why these are hotly contested items.
George Sisler, here in a BVG 2.5 holder, is a classic example of the look, with his giant head shot, on a card with all four of the thin borders present. This one has an intact reverse, which does not always happen, with corner wear showing. G-VG is a fairly typical grade for the Retirado cards as they are often found in poor shape.
