The Exhibit Postcard series issued from 1926-29 (or more likely 1925-31) is one of the more popular ESCO sets among collectors. With its varied tints and excellent player selection, there's virtually something for everyone. Despite PSA's assertion to the contrary, this PSA 3 is for the "photo background" version of the Sisler card, as opposed to the plain background version. A vivid orange-brown tint is on full display here, yielding an interesting contrast. Edge and corner issues are the culprits in the grading here, in particular the upper left corner areas as oriented. Some small surface abrasions are also seen, although the central image is unscathed. Centering is quite good and the reverse is unused, although heavily foxed. Labeling error aside, an exceptional card.
