Colorful die-cut scrapbook piece, measuring approximately 4 1/2" x 6 1/2", picturing two children and a dog in a winter scene.  At the bottom of the piece, text reads "Compliments Omaha Base Ball Association, 1889".  Managed by Hall of Famer Frank Selee, the Omaha Omahogs were part of the Western Association, and featured a roster filled with major league players, including Hall of Famer Kid Nichols, who went 39-8 in 1889, with 438 innings pitched.  The team's number two starter, Dad Clarke, finished the season 35-15.

The card presents very well, the die cuts all appear intact and the color vibrant and clean.  A small speck of paper remnant is visible between the two girls, and some stray areas of surface abrasion are visible throughout.  Some adhesive staining and paper loss is visible on the reverse, the telltale sign of scrapbook removal.  A price is written in pencil on the reverse.  Still, an interesting piece from the early days of Nebraska baseball.
