Image of a young woman with a bat, standing in front of some shrubbery, on a rock, with a sweater on the ground.  It's a prosaic image, mounted on a large, embossed board that has taken some pretty rough abuse. The photo looks hand cut and the mounting is slightly off-kilter, with some dirt showing primarily in the lighter sky, with some nice contrast. The subject, as penciled on the back is one Gertie O'Neil (nee Fuscaldo), who was born in December of 1890 in New Hampshire and passed in 1967.
