A crisp Type 1 Photo of the "Female Giants" snapped by the George Grantham Bain Picture Agency, one of the earliest and renowned photo services of its day. The agency's work was so well done the Library of Congress holds almost 40,000 negatives from their archives. The image here shows why Bain's work is so revered, as the composition and contrast are impeccable, with minute details brought to life. The photo itself has two corners gone and a third that's bending with a small piece out already. A few of scratches run through the image The reverse has the agency's stamps and a penciled file note.
