Wonderful photo postcard of Bessie Barrett of the All American Ladies Base Ball Club winding up. This look somewhat like an early Exhibit card with its striking image and composition. There is some smudging to the front and a dark line extends horizontally two-thirds of the way down the card. The reverse also has some smudging and is unused except for a penciled $65.00 at the upper left of the correspondence field. Beckett dates these to 1908 and indicates a series of at least five subjects was issued.
