Extremely rare Whitehead & Hoag pin dating to 1912, from a set of primarily, but not all, members of the Oakland Oaks.  The set is rare enough that it is assumed that the checklist is currently incomplete.  In this case, Oaks manager Bud Sharpe is listed with Oakland, but appears to be wearing the cap of the Eastern League's Buffalo Bisons, where he spent the 1911 season. The only example graded by PSA, this is actually a variation, as pins have been discovered that list him as "Bud Sharpe," as well as "Mgr. Sharpe," as we see here.  An excellent piece from a very rare issue.
