Reminiscent of his 1948 Bowman rookie card, this 7.25" x 9.5" original Type 1 photo features a young George Mikan with the Minneapolis Lakers c.1948-51. This is a striking, highly detailed depiction of Mikan who is appealingly highlighted against the dark background. Photographic print with large white borders measures 7.25" x 9.5" with a central image of approx. 6" x 8". Some creasing is evident around the outside edges but remains mostly hidden until tilted to a light source.
