Extraordinary high-grade example of this scarce, regional meat issue featuring members of the St. Louis Cardinals, the cards were packed alongside meat products, one card per package.  Due to the method of distribution, the cards are often found with product stains; though the graded population of the cards skews toward the higher grade tiers, leading us to believe that sets may have been made available.  Complete sets were redeemable for tickets to Cardinals games, and while the redemption offer states that the cards would be returned, perhaps the original cards were replaced with new examples.  Each of these cards have been graded by SGC, as follows: SGC MINT 9 (5 cards): Bates, Hill, Izo, Lewis, Stacy.  SGC NM/MT+ 8.5 (2 cards): Conrad, Crow. SGC NM/MT 8 (1 card): McGee. SGC NM+ 7.5 (1 card): Gillis. SGC NM 7 (2 cards): Fuller, Panfil.  An exceptional regional football issue, each card in high grade.  11 cards total.
