Outstanding 1967 Philadelphia football partial set, the last and perhaps most attractive of the four Philadelphia football card sets of the 1960s. The 198-card set includes key rookie cards of Leroy Kelly and Jackie Smith, as well as a significant number of Hall of Famers. The full-color photos are surrounded by a vivid yellow background that is susceptible to wear; centering issues plague the set as well. This collection is a very attractive high-grade near-set, missing many of the biggest keys but still containing plenty of its smaller ones. A complete condition breakdown of the set is as follows: 8% NM, 25% EX/MT, 43% EX, 20% VG-EX, and 4% VG. The keys grade out as follows: #14 Berry (EX-MT), #29 Ditka (EX), #42 Hickerson (EX), #52 Hayes (VG-EX), #52 Lilly (EX), #66 Lebeau (EX-MT), #74 Addely (EX), #76 Davis (EX), #77 Gregg (EX-MT), #78 Jordan (EX-MT), #79 Nitcshke (VG-EX), #83 Wood (VG), ##91 McDonald (EX), #94 Olsen (VG), #106 Tarkenton (EX), #123 Hornung (EX), #135 Brown (EX), #167 Wilson (NM), #185 Jorgensen (EX), #190 Taylor (EX). Additionally, three cards have been graded by PSA as follows: #59 Renfro (PSA EX-MT 6), #103 Marshall (PSA NM-MT 8), and #165 Smith (PSA EX-MT 6). 181 cards total.
The set is missing the following cards for completion: #23 Unitas, #28 Butkus, #34 Pyle, #35 Sayers, #43 Kelly, #46 Warfield, #82 Starr, #120 Giants, #132 Saints, #169 49ers, #175 Mudd, #178 Wilcox, #183 Hamburger, #184 Hauss, #187 Owens, and #193 Kelly.
