5% EX-MT; 25% EX; 25% VG/EX; 34% VG; 8% G; 3% lesser. The 1957 Topps issue was Topps' first foray into "standard" sized cards and the size they selected remains the standard size for trading cards today. The groundbreaking set is still immensely popular among today's collectors due in part to its colorful photography and simplistic design; collectors of high-grade examples have driven prices for such cards into the stratosphere. Presented here is a collector-grade complete set that meets the needs of the passionate collector - a clean presentable set with few creases and little excessive wear; the cards have been handled but not unreasonably so. The majority of the cards have bold clear images with deep color a tremendous example of a beautiful and popular set. Seven of the set's key cards have been graded by PSA. A condition breakdown of the set's key cards is as follows: #1 Ted Williams (VG); #2 Yogi Berra (VG); #10 Willie Mays (PSA EX-MT 6); #15 Robin Roberts (VG); #18 Don Drysdale (VG); #20 Hank Aaron (PSA VG/EX 4); #25 Whitey Ford (G); #30 Pee Wee Reese (VG); #35 Frank Robinson (PSA VG/EX 4); #55 Ernie Banks (VG/EX); #70 Richie Ashburn (VG); #76 Roberto Clemente (G); #90 Warren Spahn (VG); #95 Mickey Mantle (PSA EX 5); #120 Bobo Lemon (VG/EX); #125 Al Kaline (VG); #170 Duke Snider (P); #203 Hoyt Wilhelm (VG); #210 Roy Campanella (VG/EX); #250 Eddie Mathews (VG+); #302 Sandy Koufax (VG/EX); #328 Brooks Robinson (PSA EX-MT 6); #338 Jim Bunning (PSA EX-MT 6); #400 Dodgers Sluggers (VG); and #407 Mantle/Berra (PSA EX-MT 6). A beautiful set this is an impressive high-quality collector-grade example of one of the most popular issues in Topps' illustrious history.
