Bill Dahlen, still a worthy candidate for the Hall-of-Fame, gets the nod in one of the toughest Caramel sets there is, the 1911 (or, most likely, 1912) Plow's Candy issue. The set wasn't even known to exist until a find of 39 subjects occurred in the 1970's, which makes the assignment of the E300 ACC number intriguing as those were discontinued in December of 1971. Measuring 3" x 4", the oversized set features many star players and a checklist, almost assuredly incomplete, that's now pushing 70 subjects. The BVG Authentic grade needs no explanation, something or someone grievously damaged this card a long time ago.
