One of the tougher postwar Exhibits as it was issued only in 1947, Tex Hughson was a top talent in his day but eventually derailed by arm problems after the war. He turned his attention to cattle ranching and real estate after retiring from baseball and was a notable civil rights pioneer in Texas. This PSA Authentic card is a tale of two sides: the front is pretty nice, with some slight corner rounding and a small stain at the top, while the reverse has been torn asunder, with damage from a scrapbook removal dominating. Still, only 12 are found in the PSA pop report.
