The 1914 E145 Cracker Jack set brought a jolt of red to the little prizes it had started inserting into boxes of their sticky confection two years earlier. More like thick paper than thin cardboard, the cards were susceptible to product staining and damage. Joe Boehling is the subject here, in an SGC 1 holder that reflects some heavy staining, creases and rounded corners. Some actual product may be seen on the reverse, on the lower left.
