Possessing one of the great alliterative baseball names of all time, Gordon Goldsberry concluded an uneventful 4 year career with the putrid 1952 St. Louis Browns. He became a scout and player development executive after his playing days, remaining in the game until his death in 1996. His 1952 Topps card is a horizontal beauty and the example seen here, with centering pointed lower left and some corner rounding, has a wonderful blend of color and sepia, with some slight surface wear and creasing. The autograph hereon is quite bold, in black Sharpie, in a PSA/DNA AUTHENTIC holder.
