2% EX-MT; 6% EX; 17% VG/EX; 38% VG; 25% GOOD; 9% FAIR; 3% lesser. One of Topps' classic issues and one of their very few sets designed in all-horizontal format the 1960 baseball cards remain tremendously popular among collectors today. The 572-card set is an attractive one containing an excellent player selection and beautiful color portrait photography of each player augmented by a smaller "action" photo and team logo. A breakdown of the set's key cards is as follows: #10 Ernie Banks (VG/EX); #28 Brooks Robinson (VG); #35 Whitey Ford (VG); #50 Al Kaline (VG/EX); #73 Bob Gibson (VG); #148 Carl Yastrzemski (VG); #160 Mantle/Boyer (PSA EX-MT 6); #200 Willie Mays (VG/EX); #210 Harmon Killebrew (VG); #200 Hank Aaron (G); #305 Richie Ashburn (VG); #316 Willie McCovey (G); #326 Roberto Clemente (F - Date stamp on back appears VG/EX); #343 Sandy Koufax (PSA VG/EX 4); #350 Mickey Mantle (PSA PR 1 appears VG/EX with two slight tears); #377 Roger Maris (VG); #420 Eddie Mathews (VG); #445 Warren Spahn (VG); #480 Yogi Berra (P); #490 Frank Robinson (F); #493 Duke Snider (VG/EX); #563 Mickey Mantle AS (VG); #564 Willie Mays AS (G); #566 Hank Aaron AS (VG). This particular group is a very appealing group the majority of the cards extremely clean and colorful. While the technical grades of the cards are in the lower register this is a large and challenging set to build and attractive collector grade complete sets are not easy to find. 572 cards total.
