The sister set to the popular T3 Turkey Red baseball cabinet cards, the T9 issue contains solely boxers and is checklisted alongside the baseball cards beginning with card #51.  Many consider the T3 Turkey Red boxing cabinet cards to be the most attractive cards ever made, owing to their large size and lavish illustrations.  The cards were redeemable for a certain number of coupons found in Turkey Red, Old Mill and Fez Cigarettes.  Card backs are found either with numbered checklists of the issue (1-76 only), and a redemption offer, or a rare back that has no offer or mail-in address.  The cards are particularly condition sensitive, as their large size made them susceptible to edge wear and creasing, and they are often found with pinholes and back damage due to scrapbook mounting or wall hanging.  This complete set is no exception, grading roughly 24% VG, 24% GOOD, 32% FAIR and 20% POOR, with the key cards grading as follows: #52 Attel (F - pinholes), #55 Jeffries (F - possible slight trim), #65 Langford (P), #67 Ketchel (VG), and #76 Johnson (F).  Card #60 of Moran is of the rare, "no offer" variety, the reverse not including the coupon redemption offer typically found on these cards.  Attractive despite the technical grade and seldom offered in complete set form.  26 cards total.
