A very popular and attractive mid-1960s Topps issue the 1964 Giants set is a 60-card set of postcard-sized cards each of which contains a bold-color image of the player on the front with a "news" article about the player along with a second black & white photo on the reverse. Heavily loaded with stars of the era the display qualities of this set are outstanding. Presented is a nearly complete set of 54 cards from the issue missing none of the keys with the exception of card #51 of Willie Mays which was printed in lesser quality than other cards in the issue. Also missing are #28 Bob Friend #42 Dick Stuart #44 Tony Oliva #45 Wayne Causey and #47 Galen Cisco. The collection also contains two cards each of Hank Aaron and Ken Boyer.
