Chick Gandil, the architect of the 1919 World Series laydown, appears here on a Tolstoi-backed T206 card graded an SGC 1. There's evidence of a wet sheet transfer on the front, which also has a penciled notation that may reference his later infamy. Corner rounding and creasing are seen front and back. The Tolstoi brand logo is intact on the reverse, with an area of soiling seen.
