Lot Description  

Pair of mid grade Hall of Fame pitchers from the underrated 1914 Polo Grounds Game issue.  Both graded VG/EX 4 by SGC, the cards both exhibit some toning and overall edge softness, while the interior player images are clean and well-defined.  The wide shot of the Polo Grounds on the reverse is clean with both cards, the Mathewson slightly more soiled.
