No relation to Bowie, Walt Kuhn was ultimately a tragic figure in baseball history. He apparently didn't play during the 1910 season for unknown reasons but caught on with the Portland Beavers for 1911 after being reinstated. He later played three seasons with the White Sox and lost an eye in World War 1, ending his baseball career. Bad health plagued him and he ended his own life in 1935. The SGC 1 grade assigned here contemplates a card with rounded corners and heavy creasing. A back stamp was applied well over 100 years ago. SGC has five in their pop report, PSA carries three.
