Three great Sport Kings all in row, two that throw punches, the other free throws. Technically speaking the grades are a bit low, yet all look nice in this handsome trio.
Perhaps that's not poetic justice but this is a a potent lineup, all members of their respective Halls-of-Fame. Ed Wachter, basketball's first star player, and Nat Holman, a great from the next generation of players, flank the inimitable Jack Dempsey. The fronts all show a little bit of wear and snow, most visible in Wachter's name plate. Three different looks govern the centering and all the corners have some touches. Dempsey has a visible crease running in a Frankenstein-ian direction down from the top. The reverse of Wachter's card has some light penciling that looks like it was erased some time ago, in the upper right corner. The other two backs show a very light and small area of foxing on Dempsey and some scruffy looking impressions on the Holman. Still, it's a good looking bunch all things considered.
