The mighty swing of Ted Williams, the Red Sox great who belted 521 career home runs, would be enough to get anyone’s attention. Such is the case with this rare Ted Williams “It’s a Hit” Moxie countertop cardboard display. Going back more than 60 years, this aged yellow, red and white sign shows a two-tone photo of “The Splendid Splinter” swinging through at the plate with the accompanying copy reading “MOXIE! it’s a HIT says: Ted Williams.” The piece measures approximately 15" x 8 1/2" and shows its age with cracking and peeling around the edges with several surface marks present. The reverse still includes its original easel back for tabletop display purposes.
