Early Zeenuts were breed apart from the later issues, which all tended to resemble each other from year to year. Not so in 1915, as a beautiful sepia highlighted issue was put forth by Collins-McCarthy. John "Buddy" Ryan was a bats left/throws right outfielder for many years in the PCL and made it into 166 games across two seasons with the Cleveland Indians in 1912-13. He had a monster season for Salt Lake City in 1915 and this card is a beast as well, with its fully intact coupon, bright look and contrast to die for. A couple of arcing creases in the upper left corner drive the grade of this SGC 3 example, which has a pristine reverse. 1915's are one of the tougher Zeenut issues to corral.
