Ed Cicotte was a decade away from Black Sox infamy when Sweet Caporal started issuing the long series of pins classified in the American Card Catalog as P2. Collected on their own or as a nice ancillary to a tobacco card collection, these small, persistently popular pins are often found scratched up. This PSA 6 has escaped such a fate and presents wonderfully, with a strong, clear image of the pitcher and "centered" just a tad off to the upper right, a common thing with this release. The reverse paper insert has come through the years a bit toned but looking very nice overall. The underside rim and pin structure also show typical signs of aging without abuse.
