Bowman's inaugural 1948 set contained many hall-of-fame rookie cards and this gorgeous Red Schoendienst hails from that talented freshman class. A two time World Series champion, Red was a standout second baseman in his day.  He followed his on field exploits with lengthy stints as the manager of the Cardinals and garnered a third ring helming their 1967 squad. The PSA 6 seen here is centered a little toward the bottom, with a clear image of the young Schoendienst taking some warm up hacks. The reverse is centered way up into the right corner and has strong ink.
