Cy Young was the subject of this special one-off postcard, dating to 1908 and specifically August 13, when Cy Young Day was celebrated at Boston's Huntington Avenue Grounds. 20,000 fans attended an exhibition game that saw Young lavished with two Presentation Cups and some good old American moolah. A mere 17 have been  graded across the PSA and SGC pop reports, with this one of 13 reviewed by the latter. In SGC GOOD condition, this example seems to be slightly miscut, while sporting a strong black-and-white image. Some slight corner rounding is evident, as is a very faint, possibly erased, pencil notation on the reverse. A special card from a special day, featuring a special player!
