The T206 issue is as popular as it is partially because there are so many different ways to collect it. Some choose to collect the entire set focusing on 520 cards (or 524 if bankroll is no object) with all the variations. Others choose to collect subsets by back variety for instance. Still others choose to collect a certain team or even a player. Other hobbyists have chosen to collect the many Hall of Famers issued as part of the set. There are 76 different cards of 38 members of the Hall of Fame currently and building a subset of T206 Hall of Famers is a lengthy - and costly - proposition. Even without the near-impossible Wagner and Plank cards there remain 74 cards of 36 players including four Ty Cobbs three Cy Youngs three Christy Mathewsons and two Walter Johnsons each of which on their own are key cards in many collections. Building a complete set of T206 Hall of Famers in any grade is not an easy task and takes considerable time. Presented here is a wonderful head start - 44 different cards representing 30 of the 38 possible Hall of Famers in the set (missing only Frank Baker Ty Cobb Sam Crawford Johnny Evers Walter Johnson Cy Young and of course Eddie Plank and Honus Wagner). Each card has been graded VG 40 by SGC and was hand-picked for its high quality within the assigned grade. Each boasts a bold clear image and there are very few centering issues throughout the collection. All the cards have either Sweet Caporal or Piedmont backs.
