Typewritten letter from Hall of Fame manager Connie Mack to Bill Skiff, new manager of the Seattle Rainiers in 1941.  The letter, very polite and professional, congratulates Skiff on being named manager, and then covers details of pre-game warmups for a spring training exhibition between the Rainiers and Philadelphia Athletics.  Mack has signed the letter in black ink.  The letter appears in VG condition, written on Athletics letterhead.  Some folds are clearly evident, along with a few minor creases and stray marks.  Some age-related toning is also apparent.  Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
