Extremely interesting Rawlings OAL (Budig) baseball, signed and heavily inscribed by Hall of Fame pitcher Robin Roberts.  Though Roberts baseballs are by no means scarce, baseballs inscribed this heavily are quite desirable, even with frequently-seen signers.  Roberts has signed in blue Sharpie, inscribing "HOF 76" on the sweet spot.  On the West panel, he has added "MVP 52" and "28-7" to signify his MVP season.  On the East panel, he has added "2357 K" and "45 'Sho"" to represent his lifetime strikeout and shutout totals.  On the South panel, Roberts has added "286 Wins" and "3.41 ERA", and on the North panel, "7 All Star Games" and "Whiz Kid."  The baseball has some minor soiling, the ink spreading into the cowhide slightly.

Roberts certainly earned his Hall of Fame credentials, but looking at the numbers and various components of his inscriptions herein is a clear reminder - Robin Roberts was a big-time pitcher.  Basic cert from James Spence Authentication.
