Superstar Jackie Robinson appears first from the left in this 8" x 10" original photograph depicting a scene from The Jackie Robinson Story. Jackie Robinson played himself, of course, in this 1950 biopic detailing Robinson's struggles with battling racial discrimination while breaking baseball's color barrier and throughout his career. Borders exhibit moderate soiling and wear with a handwritten notation appearing in the lower-right corner. Three holes have been punched towards the left edge, presumably for placement in a binder. Verso also contains notations, written in pencil, identifying those present in the image with those details repeated on the attached paper caption. Authenticated and encapsulated as a Type 1 photo by PSA/DNA.
