Wonderful Reach Official AL baseball, signed by 15 members of the 1927 Philadelphia Athletics. Behind the leadership of Connie Mack, the Athletics finished with a 91-63-1 record, good enough for second place in the American League, of course behind the legendary Yankees "Murderer's Row" lineup. The baseball exhibits toning and surface discoloration, and has been covered by a layer of shellac. Several of the signatures are faded considerably, but the most important ones remain quite legible. Signatures include Max Bishop (ss), Eddie Collins (HOF), Kid Gleason (coach), Rube Walberg, Charlie Bates (twice), Jing Johnson (barely legible), Lefty Grove (HOF), Walt French, Rusty Saunders, Jimmie Dykes, Jimmie Foxx (HOF), Ike Powers, Joe Boley, and one illegible. An exceptional multi-signed baseball containing three Hall of Famers plus Kid Gleason. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
